The Lists

The most common questions we get asked all start with the same three words, “Can I have..?”

And frankly the answer is never simple. Yes, if you’re ravaged with autoimmunity, the list of what you can and should eat is very short, but for the rest of us there is a lot of nuance.

That’s where these lists come in handy.

They’re organised into four handy categories:

  • A List = “Yes! Any time you like, as much as you want.”
  • B List = “If you can, but not a staple.”
  • C List = “If you must, in limitation.”
  • X list = “No. Just no. Stop it.”

A screenshot of the final lists is included below, but we strongly recommend you check out the 45-minute video too, because there is a lot more detail to understand, which will give you the “why” behind each decision.

  1. Excellent thankyou, as a complete newbie I was struggling a bit to work out exactly what I could & couldn't eat. I grow potatoes in my garden, so going to consider switching that to squash this year. As you say there really is nothing better than potatoes with butter, makes my mouth water. Im sure squash with butter will do the same, thanks for your expertise once again Phil & Ben

    1. You’re welcome. If you do choose to eat your own potatoes, make sure you peel them (I know, counter to popular advice, but you don’t need the fibre anyway). But the skin contains the toxin solanine, in far higher doses if allowed to go green or to sprout, in which case those areas much be removed completely! Around 70 people every year die from eating potatoes worldwide.

  2. This is an eye opener for me, I thought I was eating healthily.

Thank you lads, I found this video not only amazing but I am excited to see how this works out, above all I trust you both which has me very confident.

I have been really struggling the last 4 years on what I should eat and what I shouldn't, this is a complete game changer, I trust you both which cannot be said for anything I have read on the internet about healthy foods.

Thank you both for sharing your knowledge,
